Commissions F.A.Q.
Q. What payment methods do you take?I accept QRIS and bank transfer (OCBC) for local, and PayPal for international.
Q. How does the payment process work?Please pay the full price upfront, once you have been given an invoice.
Q. How long do you take for commissions?Chibis approximately take 1-3 weeks, while regular commissions may take 2-3 weeks or more, depending on complexity and availability.
Q. Will you send progress sketches?
(excluding Surprise Me! commissions)Yes! You will be sent 2 progress sketches: one to determine the pose / composition, and another for the base colours.I will continue to the next stage of the commission only after the sketch has been confirmed.
Terms of Service
Upon proceeding with the commission, the client agrees to all of the following terms:1. The artist reserves the right to reject or cancel any commission order for any reason.
Refunds will be issued according to the Refund Policy.
_2. Unless there has been an explicit agreement stating otherwise, the client will use the commissioned artwork(s) only for PERSONAL PURPOSES.Examples of PERSONAL USE include:- Using the artwork as a profile picture for a personal social media account.
- Posting the artwork on social media (with credit).
- Editing or altering the artwork WITHOUT the use of AI (i.e., using filters, creating collages, etc.).
However, alterations done without respect to the artist is forbidden (i.e., tracing, drawing over the commissioned work to 'fix' it).
- Using the artwork in personal projects (i.e. videos, edits, ship charts and templates).
- Using the artwork to create merchandise for PERSONAL USE ONLY.The following examples do not fall under personal use, however it is possible to ask the artist for their permission:
(Commercial prices may apply in some cases.)- Distributing merchandise made with the commissioned artwork (both commercial and non-profit).
- Using the artwork as the profile picture of, or to promote a business, brand or product (including social media accounts for content creators).The following examples are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN:- Selling the artwork to another party without permission from the artist.
- Tracing the artwork to replicate it, or using it as a base to create a new artwork.
_3. The commissioned artwork will NOT be used to train AI, and will not be subject to any form of editing/alteration/image or video generation using AI.
Any usage of generative AI on the artwork is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.This includes, but is not limited to:- Using ChatGPT, Grok or other AI models to generate a moving image or video from the artwork.
- Using ChatGPT, Grok or other AI models to enhance, add filters, or alter the artwork in any way.
- Using the artwork as reference for ChatGPT, Grok or other AI models to generate a similar image/an image with a similar style.
- Adding the artwork into a database for a generative AI model.None of these examples are allowed, and permission will not be granted for any individual case.
_4. The artist is free to use the commissioned artwork for portfolios, social media posts, or future commission sheets, unless the client has explicitly expressed otherwise.The artist will not use the commissioned work for any other purpose (commercial or otherwise) unless the client has given permission.
_5. By ordering a Surprise Me! Commission, the client acknowledges that the finalised work is left to the artist’s discretion.The client may not ask for revisions or refunds if the finalised artwork differs from their expectations.
Refund Policy
1. Refunds will not be given for Surprise Me! Commissions, or any commissions that have already been delivered to the client.
_2. Partial refunds may be issued for regular commissions if the client decides to cancel the commission order BEFORE the first progress sketch.In this case, the client will be refunded a percentage of the amount they paid upfront, in accordance to how much progress has already been made.Additionally, a cancellation fee of 25% will be deducted from the total amount.(If a commission has been cancelled at 10% progress, the client is entitled to a refund of 65% of the total amount paid.)
_3. Full refunds will be issued if the artist decides to cancel a commission in progress.However, if the artist is forced to cancel due to the following reasons, only partial or no refunds will be issued:
- Abusive language or unreasonable behaviour from the client
- Client violating, or expressing intent in violating the Terms of Service
- Too many revisions
